John Stoehr is editor of the New Haven Advocate. He has been thrice selected as a fellow at the NEA’s Arts Journalism Institutes. He is a 2009 recipient of the Lilly Scholarships in Religion for Journalists and has a Master of Arts in English from the University of Cincinnati. His writing has appeared in The Forward, Religion Dispatches, and Killing the Buddha, among many others. He is a co-founder of Flyover: Art in the American Outback.
